There’s something oddly timeless about The Mariner’s Children’s approach to making music. It’s like the past 30 years of British music never happened. They’ve avoided the pitfalls of guitar based indie, and just made their sound developing OLD music. The video for the track ‘It Carved Your Name Into The Ground’ belies this. This track is taken from their forthcoming EP New Moore Island, which is out on 1st November via Broken Records.
