The Lemon Twigs mark signing to 4AD with electrifying new single "These Words"
Teenage troubadours The Lemon Twigs have signed to 4AD, and shared brand new single "These Words".
The D'Addario bros. - Brian (19) and Michael (17) - are following up last month's "As Long As We're Together", which we dubbed "the best lo-fi rock & roll anthem you’ll hear this decade".
"These Words" is a swooning '70s saga, with xylophones, funky basslines, vintage synths, and a showy, jazz-handed, glammed-up climax.
Like "As Long As We're Together", "These Words" was produced by Jonathan Rado. Both are set to appear on the duo's debut record.
The band have also confirmed their first show outside of the US - they'll play London's Sebright Arms on 6 August.
