According to the Official Charts Company, "Boris Johnson Is Still A F*cking C*nt" is is the second-most downloaded song of the week so far, and will be going up against other Christmas singles from LadBaby, Ed Sheeran and Elton John, Mariah Carey and George Ezra before the 2021 UK Christmas number one is announced on Friday (24 December).
The Kunts' new song, according to Kunt, who spoke to NME, samples The KLF's "Doctorin’ The Tardis", uses the same "tempo and rhythm as Depeche Mode‘s "Personal Jesus"", and closes with "The Addams Family theme on the end because it’s a song you hear a lot without realising it, on piers and in arcades, and there isn’t a more irritating ear-worm."
