The Kunts' "Boris Johnson Is A F*cking C**t" could be this year’s UK Christmas Number One
The Kunts' "Boris Johnson Is A F*cking C**t" is genuinely in the running for this year's UK Christmas Number One single, going up against LadBaby and Mariah Carey.
"Boris Johnson Is A Fucking C**t" was released as part of The Kunts' July album Kunts Punk in Your Face, but is now going up against LadBaby, Mariah Carey and Ed Sheeran for the Christmas top spot on the charts.
The Independent reports that the song reached Number Two in the iTunes chart and is currently sitting in fourth place. The track is also currently in third position on Amazon Music, behind LadyBaby’s "Don’t Stop Me Eatin'" which will see proceeds donated to The Trussell Trust.
Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker backed the song back in October for Christmas Number One, and shared an updated picture of the iTunes chart last Sunday (20 December).

According to The Official Charts' midweek update (published yesterday), LadBaby are the favourites to secure the Christmas top spot for a third consecutive year, but "Boris Johnson Is A Fucking C**t" is currently at Number 19, and is the "third fastest-seller of the week" so far.
The surge in streams for "Boris Johnson Is A Fucking C**t" is likely due to the Prime Minister's introduction of Tier 4 coronavirus restrictions across London and parts of the South East of England earlier this week. Those located in Tier 4 areas have been urged to stay at home and not visit another household on Christmas Day.
