The Knife stream new single and Planningtorock remix
Ever contrary, The Knife’s new single is not actually by them. Instead, it’s actually a reworking of one of their tracks.
As a press release notes: “The Knife have invited Planningtorock to reinterpret ‘Full of Fire’, from the album ‘Shaking The Habitual’. Using the ‘Full of Fire’ lyric, Planningtorock went about creating a brand new track”.
This is what Planningtorock had to say about the project: “Going through the tracks I pulled the awesome lyric ‘Lets Talk About Gender Baby Lets Talk About You and Me’ out from ‘Full of Fire’ and was completely moved by its groovy directness .. started recording this super fun bass line and totally went for a funky celebration feel”.
The single will come out 14/15 October 14 on Rabid / Brille / Mute Records. You can watch its video below:
