A new record by The Knife will finally see the light of day in 2012, according to their website.
Following Karin Dreijer Andersson’s success as Fever Ray, it was unclear exactly when we might see another ‘proper’ record from the Swedish electro duo – it’s five years now since the excellent Silent Shout was released and 2010′s conceptual opera Tomorrow, In A Year didn’t really satiate those longing for something more solid and less disconcerting.
The announcement has made us incredibly nostalgic for The Knife’s past aural glories so here’s a cut from way back in ’03 featuring the awesome Jenny Wilson.
