The Jesus and Mary Chain are set to release their first new record in 19 years, says Creation Records founder Alan McGee.
“They’ve made another album! It’s a big deal! It’s unbelievable," McGee, also the band's manager, told CBC. "They’ve just made an album and I’ve signed them to Warners!"
When prompted for details, he told the CBC that "it's kinda enormous!" but kept tight lipped for the most part.
Apparently the LP - the first new music since 1998's Munki - is out in March 2017, but it's technically unconfirmed so let's wait and see before we explode with excitement.
JAMC will drop their new record March 2017. ...............................on Warners of course!
