Remember those era-defining videos that The Human League made during the eighties? Well, this isn’t one of them. But for a comeback video, it’s still pretty rad and, full credit to the band for releasing something that’s obviously creatively challenging to them rather than re-hashing their sound of old. The pessimist in me was expecting it to sound like utter cod shit. Hat eaten.
‘Night People’ will be released on 22 November. Accompanied by remixes by the likes of Mylo and Emperor Machine, this single is the first to be taken from the Sheffielders highly anticipated tenth full-length effort, Credo, due for release in March 2011.
