Brooklyn alt-rockers, The Hold Steady are set to appear in HBO’s medieval-fantasy drama Game of Thrones. A song of their’s, we mean…
The band have revealed they recorded a song especially for the TV series, which season 3 starting at the end of the month.
The track in question is called ‘The Bear and the Maiden Fair’ and has been described as a “boisterous tavern song”. It’ll come out as a special release on Record Store Day (20 April).
The Hold Steady released their most recent album, Heaven Is Whenever, back in 2010.
