The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne gets banned from Instagram
Back in the day, rockstars used to be kicked out of venues, thrown out of hotels or ran out of town completely. Now, they get banned from Instagram. Or at least, The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne does.
Coyne, an avid user of social network sites, is known for the tendency to post nude or otherwise NSFW photos on his feed. Despite him doing it for over a year now, it’s taken this long for the powers above to decide he was breaking the rules.
As Stereogum report, the singer has gone and started a new account anyway, but what’s angered fans most is that all the photos have now been deleted. They’ve even gone to the effort of petitioning for Instagram to reactivate Coyne’s original account and with it, the masses of personal photos.
