Following two back-to-back performances at London’s Roundhouse earlier this week, one of which saw lead singer Wayne Coyne cradle a baby’s doll, The Flaming Lips are set to appear on BBC Radio 6 Music later today (23 May) for a special live session.
The Oklahoma band will perform at the Beeb’s famous Maida Vale studios, airing live from 6PM-7PM BST. To get you in the mood for that, 6 Music have even provided a special printable cut-out Wayne Coyne mask, also shown below. Handy.
Flaming Lips will return to the 6 Music studios on Sunday, taking over the playlist for a whole hour between midday and 1PM. More info on that can be found here.
