The Flaming Lips announce joint tour with The Black Keys
The Flaming Lips have announced they are set to embark on some co-tour dates with The Black Keys.
Wayne Coyne and co are set to play a series of four shows with the garage rock duo during the end of April and early May in the U.S.
In other news, someone stole The Flaming Lips’ giant lazer hands.
Yep, you read that correct: a stage prop from the band’s ever-extravagant live shows got stolen at a gig in Australia.
Luckily, and thanks to Twitter, they were later returned. I mean, they couldn’t have been that hard to track down…
Those tour dates are as below:
April
28 – Sprint Center , Kansas City
30 – CONSOL Energy Cente, Pittsburgh
May
2 – Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood, Atlanta
3 – Bridgestone Arena, Nashville
