The first trailer for a new biopic on Harriet Tubman, titled HARRIET, has been revealed, and gives a sneak peek of Janelle Monáe's character.
HARRIET is based on the iconic freedom fighter Harriet Tubman, and shares her story of escaping from slavery and her journey of liberating other slaves.
Janelle Monáe will star in the new biopic alongside Cynthia Erivo, who plays Tubman in the new film.
HARRIET will arrive in US theaters on 1 November. The film is yet to get a UK release date.
