A new trailer for the Devil's Pie - D'Angelo documentary has been revealed.
Having been premiered over the weekend at Tribeca Film Festival, the first trailer for D'Angelo's Devil's Pie documentary has been unveiled.
Directed by Carine Bijlsma, the upcoming documentary explores D'Angelo's long hiatus between 2000's Voodoo and 2014’s Black Messiah.
The documentary follows D'Angelo through his rehearsals for 2015's Second Coming tour, and features interviews with D'Angelo, Questlove, his management, and his other collaborators.
Billboard reported over the weekend that the documentary also hints that D'Angelo is working on his follow up to 2014's Black Messiah.
In January D'Angelo's Red Dead Redemption 2 track "Unshaken" was finally released.
