Here’s a news headline, or indeed whole article, that we thought we’d never write: Yes, everyone’s favourite electro-Swedes, Icona Pop have been covered by The Cookie Monster on seminal kids show Sesame Street.
As the pop duo prep their upcoming debut album This is… Icona Pop, their recent number 1 single and global hit ‘I Love It’ makes its second TV appearance following a feature on Girls.
Watch the cookie-loving character spoof the track below, changing the lyrics to ‘Me Want It (But Me Wait)’ – obviously about his choc-chip habits.
