The Charlatans will screen their new documentary Mountain Picnic Blues – a film focusing on their seminal 1997 album Tellin’ Stories - in London later this month.
The film will experience a special premiere at the ICA in London on 29 April, with Q&A sessions with band members and the directors also set to take place.
Featuring interviews with all band members, Mountain Picnic Blues tells the story of the tragic circumstances surrounding the album’s recording, the completion of which happened in the aftermath of keyboard player Rob Collins’ untimely death in the summer of 1996.
You can buy tickets for the event here, with doors opening at 6pm on the day.
