The Afghan Whigs are set to play their first show since their reform, a warm-up to their appearance at the ATP I’ll Be Your Mirror event at the end of the month.
The reunion show will be their first back together in thirteen years and will take place at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on 23 May.
The band will follow this with their already-announced slot at this year’s ATP I’ll Be Your Mirror festival, alongside the likes of Slayer and the Melvins.
The Afghan Whigs replaced Guided By Voices in the Sunday headline slot at the event taking place at London’s Alexandra Palace between 25-27 May.
