The critically acclaimed group announced "Give Yourself A Try" was arriving via Twitter earlier this week. Debuted on BBCR1 as Annie Mac's Hottest Record, The 1975 have finally put fans at ease with new material.

"Give Yourself A Try" comes as the first offering from their upcoming third album A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, and is riddled with The Postal Service and Joy Division vibes.

Healy also revealed that there won't be just one, but two forthcoming records.

Their new offering is the first original track from the group since 2016's I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it.

"Give Yourself A Try" is taken from A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, which is out in October. The second album will arrive in May 2019.
