Terri Walker leaves duo Lady, hooks up with Damon Albarn
Terri Walker has quit her partnership with US singer Nicole Wray to work on her solo album – with Blur’s Damon Albarn as a possible producer.
The South London singer broke the news on Twitter that she’s leaving Lady to pursue a solo career. From just releasing one self-titled studio album earlier this year with Wray, Walker explained that the decision “wasn’t made lightly” and that the pair are still best of friends.
She also revealed she’s been in the studio with the Blur frontman, posting a picture over on Instagram:
To all of you asking.Yes it’s true I am no longer part of Lady.Nicole and I will and always will be fine. That Sister bond is for real!
