Tennis announce debut album, UK / European tour for January 2011
Following on from the sixties high-school inspired dream pop of previous track ‘Marathon’, the husband and wife duo that is Tennis have signed to Fat Possum Records and begun work on their debut full length Cape Dory, due out in January 2011.
Hailing from Denver, Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore’s shimmering harmonies were inspired by an epic eight-month long Atlantic coastline sailing voyage. And whilst I’m sure they won’t be repeating their sailing efforts as a means of making it to our shores, they are coming over here in January as part of their European Tour.
