Teacher gives 12-year-old permission to skip school for Tool concert
A US teacher gave a 12-year-old student permission to miss school to go and watch Tool live.
For the 12-year-old student, Tool's latest live dates are the first in his lifetime that they've been on tour.
The rockers returned with their first album in 13 years last month, Fear Inoculum.
Posting on Tool's Reddit page, his parents shared the story, and revealed they wrote to the band director at the school asking for permission to take their son to see Tool in Houston next month.
Responding to the email, the teacher replied, "If there is, Tool is a GOOD reason to miss it. My only response, take me with you guys!"
The email adds, "I am super jealous that he will have that opportunity and I will not punish him for missing for Tool. How is he doing? Do you like their new album?"
