
Taylor Swift sets new record for getting three Number One UK albums in the shortest time
Taylor Swift's Fearless (Taylor’s Version) has set a new record on the UK Official Albums Chart, passing The Beatles for getting three Number One albums in the shortest time ever.
Last Friday (9 April) saw Swift release her highly-anticipated Fearless (Taylor's Version) album, and after topping the UK Official Albums Chart today (16 April), the Official Charts has confirmed that Swift's latest chart topper has set a new record.
The new record is for achieving three UK Number One albums in the shortest amount of time, overtaking The Beatles who held the previous record for 54 years.
Swift set the new record today (16 April) after Fearless (Taylor's Version) became her third chart-topping album in the space of just 259 days, following Folkore on 31 July and Evermore on 18 December.
The Beatles' previous record saw them achieve three Number One albums in 364 days, with Help!, Rubber Soul and Revolver.
