Taylor Swift performs cover of Carole King's "Will You Love Me Tomorrow?"
During Saturday's (30 October) Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Taylor Swift paid tribute to Carole King with a performance of "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?".
Swift inducted King into the Rock Hall on Saturday (30 October), marking the second time King has been inducted. In 1990, King entered the Rock Hall as a non-performer with her ex-husband and former songwriting partner Gerry Goffin.
The ceremony marked a full circle moment, after King presented Swift with the American Music Award in 2019 for artist of the decade.
As well as inducting King into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Swift performed King's "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?".
When inducting King on Saturday, Swift said, "Carole taught artists like me that telling your own story is worth the work and struggle it takes to earn the opportunity for your story to be heard. That musical connection can be generation spanning. She created the purest works of love and strength and catharsis while navigating the politics of an era that didn’t make space for the idea of a female genius. Slowly but surely, Carole King worked and worked until she had created one. And it will hers forever."
"She is an immensely generous artist in every sense of that term," Swift added. "She has given us all so much. And that’s why I’m so moved and honored to be here this evening to give something back to her. Carole, please accept your well deserved place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame."
