Taylor Swift has contributed a new song to the Where The Crawdads Sing film
It's been revealed that Taylor Swift has contributed an original song to the upcoming film adaptation of Where The Crawdads Sing.
Earlier today (22 March) the official trailer for the film adaptation of Delia Owens' novel Where The Crawdads Sing was released, and it features a preview of a new Taylor Swift song titled "Carolina" that she contributed to the film.
Swift revealed in an Instagram post that she reunited with Folklore and Evermore collaborator Aaron Dessner to produce the new song. "Where The Crawdads Sing is a book I got absolutely lost in when I read it years ago," Swift wrote. "As soon as I heard there was a film in the works starring the incredible Daisy Edgar-Jones and produced by the brilliant Reese Witherspoon, I knew I wanted to be a part of it from the musical side. I wrote the song "Carolina" alone and asked my friend Aaron Dessner to produce it. I wanted to create something haunting and ethereal to match this mesmerizing story. You’ll hear it fully soon, but for now check out the trailer for a clip!"
