Taking Back Sunday, Libertines and more support young adults living with cancer via band T-shirts
Young adult cancer support charity Trekstock have announced the new winter collection for their Yellow Bird Project – the band tee fundraising initiative to support young people with and beyond cancer - and it includes designs from the likes of The Libertines, Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday, Circa Waves, Birdy, Mr Scruff, Architects, Milky Chance and Timber Timbre.
Founded in 2006, Yellow Bird Project was reignited in 2017 in aid of Trekstock and calls on the world’s biggest and best music talent to design one-off, previously unseen artwork for a series of limited edition, collectable T-shirts and sweatshirts. Now a charitable initiative, Yellow Bird Project raises funds for young adults in their 20s and 30s as they live with, through and beyond cancer. The new collection, just in time for Christmas, includes nine exclusive T-shirts with original designs – ranging from hand-drawn illustrations by the artists to never before seen exclusive promotional artwork.
All designs are on sale now and are available as T-shirts retailing at £22 and all-new sweatshirts at £30. 100% of all profits go directly to Trekstock.
The winter collection joins Yellow Bird Project’s existing catalogue of designs by The National, Wolf Alice, Bloc Party, Alt-J, Everything Everything, Bastille, Bombay Bicycle Club, Bon Iver, Chvrches, FOALS, Hot Chip, Royal Blood, The Horrors, Emmy the Great and more.
