T in the Park organiser confirms the festival won't be coming back
Scotland's biggest festival T in the Park was put on hold in 2016, and today the organiser has confirmed that it won't be coming back.
T in the Park ran from 1994 to 2016, and was Scotland's biggest music festival.
The festival didn't return in 2017 due to issues obtaining a new location.
Speaking to BBC, organiser Geoff Ellis, who also puts on TRNSMT festival, said, "It was an amazing festival, but it ran its course."
He added, "It was really the third major festival in the UK. We've got some great memories…we'll always have them and so will all the people who grew up with it."
Ellis also confirmed that his energy is focused towards TRNSMT, "it's all about TRNSMT for us now."
