SZA releases three surprise tracks on SoundCloud

SZA surprise-released three new songs under an alias on SoundCloud yesterday (22 August), titled "Joni", "I Hate You" and "Nightbird".

After making an appearance on Isaiah Rashad's The House Is Burning song "Score" with 6LACK last month, SZA has surprised fans with three new songs, uploaded to SoundCloud yesterday (22 August) with SZA writing, "dumping random thoughts".

The tracks, titled "Joni", "I Hate You" and "Nightbird" mark SZA's first new material as the lead artist since last year's "Good Days".

On Twitter, one fan asked if she can start dropping "random thoughts" once a week, to which she replied: "Yes."

Another user wrote, "We love you but we also love Shirt", leading SZA to respond, "She nex."

She's yet to follow up her 2017 album CTRL.

As well as collaborating with Isaiah Rashad this year, SZA has worked with Doja Cat and SAINt JHN, and might make an appearance on Summer Walker's new album.
