Swn celebrates five years in Cardiff

Swn celebrated its fifth birthday this weekend, with more than 150 bands playing across 14 venues.

The Cardiff festival boasted a lineup that took in the cream of new Welsh music, alongside established British acts like The Fall.

The city also played host to a number of international artists, with UK debuts from the likes of Battlekat.

For the first time Radio One and 6Music broadcast live from the festival, which enjoys support from PRS and the Welsh Government.

Dates for Swn 2012 will be announced next year.
