Susanna announces new album inspired by Charles Baudelaire
Susanna is back with news of her forthcoming Charles Baudelaire-inspired album Elevation, and has shared the opener "Alchemy of Suffering" as the first preview of the record.
"Alchemy of Suffering", inspired by Baudelaire's poem of the same name, is Susanna's first new material since last year's Live collaborative covers album with David Wallumrød, and is teamed with a video by CLOAK/DAGGER.
Elevation, much like 2020's Baudelaire & Piano, is inspired by the works of French poet Charles Baudelaire, and is, according to Susanna, a "time travelling" project. She also described the album as "an intuitive and collective ceremony of the ethereal and mystical in life."
