Surviving TLC members working on new music with Lady Gaga & Drake
Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas, the two surviving members of R&B girl-group TLC held a press conference yesterday to detail plans of their long-expected reunion.
With a VH1 biopic coming in October in the form of CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, the pair have also announced they’ve inked a new deal with Epic Records. This contract will see the duo release a Greatest Hits album, with bonus tracks of added new material.
Among the new music they’ve been working on features tracks written by Lady Gaga and Ne-Yo, as well as collaborations with Drake and J Cole.
While they’ve been hanging out with actress Lil Mama a lot recently, who will play fallen member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes in the biopic, they’ve denied they’re lining up a third member to fill in for Lopes, quoted as saying “no one will ever be a member in this group. Ever.”
The Greatest Hits album is set to drop on 15 October.
