Supersonic Festival 2010 announces late lineup additions
Birmingham’s mighty urban noisefest Supersonic has now put the finishing touches to its lineup. As well as headliners Napalm Death, Swans, Godflesh, Hallogallo and Melt-Banana, the organisers have just announced the addition of Chrome Hoof, Ruins, Dethscalator and new Daniel O’Sullivan project Moth Lite. In one of the most diverse, experimental and exciting three days of programming you’re likely to see this year, other additions include Barn Owl, Health and Efficiency and a percussion parade through the festival, led by Black Sun Drum Corps.
The festival also breaks new ground by including experimental music gigs aimed specifically at the under-10s (“big sounds for little people”), a 7 hour guitar installation God’s White Noise and noise box construction workshops.
Supersonic 2010 is running from 22 to 24 October 2010. For the full line-up and details of the workshops and the concurrent film programme, visit their website here.
