Summer Camp unveil "Bad Love" video, detail one-off London show
Summer Camp have shared their visuals for their upcoming LP's lead single/title track, "Bad Love", and announced a one-off London show.
The clip sees the pair as slasher movie sweethearts, cowering before a ruthless killer. It was directed by Luke Snellin (Banana, The Job Lot) at Elstree Studios (Star Wars, The Shining), Bill Milner, who played young Magneto in the latest X-Men film, and Jessica Barden, who currently stars in Far From The Madding Crowd, also crop up.
The twosome said of the video: "We had the idea to make something along the lines of an American teen horror flick like Scream or I Know What You Did Last Summer, but where the real evil isn't a faceless killer but the darkness in a human relationship."
As well as the video, Summer Camp have announced a new London headline date for September at the Village Underground. Tickets are available from here.
Bad Love is out 25 May via Moshi Moshi.
