
Sufjan Stevens shares seven-minute Carrie & Lowell outtake "Wallowa Lake Monster"

Sufjan Stevens has unveiled "Wallowa Lake Monster", a sprawling new single from upcoming mixtape The Greatest Gift.
The tape is coming next month and features outtakes, remixes, and demos from the Carrie & Lowell era. The Greatest Gift is intended as a "companion" to the 2015 opus, and features input from Helado Negro, 900X, and Doveman.
Stevens has already been pretty busy this year, releasing an audiovisual edition of Carrie & Lowell and teaming up with James McAlister (aka 900X), Nico Muhly, and The National's Bryce Dessner for new project Planetarium.
