Sufjan Stevens, Robyn, Hot Chip & more contribute to Arthur Russell compilation
Red Hot Organization, the people that brought us Dark Was The Night, have been prepping a Arthur Russell tribute album for a while now, with more details finally emerging.
Although no due date has yet been set, with a crowdfunding scheme for the project not met, it has been revealed that the likes of Hot Chip, Twin Shadow, Washed Out, Robyn, Laurel Halo, Owen Pallett, Devendra Banhart and more will contribute to the compilation.
Sufjan Stevens also recently revealed on his blog that he’s recorded a song from the LP, although he’s since deleted said post.
