Sub Pop Records is such an integral part of Seattle tourism that it’s only logical for the famed label to launch a record store in the city’s very airport, right? Well, that’s what is set to happen anyhow.
The imprint, known for launching the careers of Nirvana, The Shins and more, will open the shop at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport during spring 2014, staying open every day of the year.
The store will stock new and reissued albums from their back-catalogue, as well as other Sub Pop-related merchandise.
Meanwhile, Sub Pop recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. Read our Best Fit feature on that here.
