Taken from The Low Anthem’s forthcoming album Smart Flesh comes ‘Hey, All You Hippies.’ The latest track from the Rhode Island quartet is available to stream from here in celebration of the Reagan Centennial. Posting on their website the band said:
“Dear Ronald Reagan, President, protector, lover of freedom, poet of justice,
We were too young to know thee but swooned before your likeness in the glow of the silver screen. Thank you for telling all of us degenerates to get off our asses. This song goes out to you in loving memory.”
Smart Flesh is due out on Bella Union Records on February 21 ahead of the band’s UK tour.
