B-town was a flash in the pan, but Birmingham’s still launching scores of great new acts into the ether. Jaws is one of those, combining axe sparkles and ‘90s shoegaze tinges with modern fuzz-pop sensibilities. It’s brash, shimmering aural ambrosia.
Stream their debut record Be Slowly below. It’s out 15 September via Rattlepop, and is well worth more than just a cursory listen.
