Stormzy launches campaign to bag this year's Christmas number one
Stormzy has started a campaign to try and get his song "Shut Up" to the Christmas number one spot.
The track was released earlier this year, and became the first ever freestyle to enter into the UK Top 40.
Speaking to Lad Bible, Stormzy says: "I'm a bit crazy so sometimes I just get these mad ideas that, on paper, aren't even possible. But in my head I just think 'yeah, f*ck it, let's do it'... [if I won] I'd have a party and pop some bottles and make a video being like 'aaaaahaha fuck it.'"
In response, bookmakers Coral now put Stormzy's chances of bagging the number one spot at 14/1. Other big contenders are Adele at 25/1, recent X Factor champ Louisa Johnson at 8/11, and Justin Bieber at 5/1.
