Still Corners cover Rogue Wave, plot Sub Pop single
Fresh from performing at the Midi Festival on the French Riviera at the weekend, Still Corners are giving away their beautiful rendition of the classic Rogue Wave song ‘Eyes’. Already a staple in Still Corners’ live set, the cover seems fitting as the band announce their new single (due early 2011) will be released via Sub Pop – the label that Rogue Wave were signed to when the track was originally released in 2005.
Still Corners will appear at the TLOBF co-curated Shhh! Festival, taking place at Cecil Sharp House, London on January 22. Other acts confirmed to perform are Fos, Conquering Animal Sound, Dana Falconberry, Bleeding Heart Narrative, Judson Claiborne, The Last Dinosaur and a super-rare solo performance from Mogwai front-man Stuart Braithwaite.
