Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks announce new album Wig Out at Jagbags, unveil track “Lariat”

Following a live homage to Lou Reed, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks have now confirmed details of their previously-rumoured new album.
Wig Out at Jagbags will drop 6 January (UK) / 7 January (North America), following on from 2011′s Mirror Traffic. It’s their sixth album, meaning that the group surpass the number that their frontman’s former band Pavement ever released.
