St Vincent performs live with The National in New York

The National played a hometown show in Brooklyn last night at the Barclays Center, and had a surprise up their sleeves.

Opening new album cut ‘This Is The Last Time’ in complete darkness, the band revealed backing vocals from St Vincent’s Annie Clark. The singer had appeared on the studio version of the album, alongside the likes of Sufjan Stevens and Sharon Van Etten.
