Squid, Fontaines DC and black midi contribute items to auction to help save Windmill Brixton venue
The likes of Squid, Fontaines DC, black midi and more have contributed items to an auction helping to save Windmill Brixton from closing its doors for good.
Windmill Brixton is currently on Music Venue Trust's red zone along with 29 other grassroots music venues across the UK, which means the venue is at risk of imminent closure without financial aid.
Today (1 December), Team Lose It have joined forces with Windmill Brixton to launch the Action! Auction! to save the venue from closing for good.
Some of the items up for auction include a signed 12" vinyl of "The Dial", merch and more from Squid, a Fontaines DC A2 print from guitarist Carlos' new line of photos signed by the band, and a drumming lesson with black midi's Morgan Simpson at the Windmill.
Sleaford Mods have contributed Jason Williamson's signed work shirt from his last 'normal' job in 2014, Speedy Wunderground's Dan Carey is auctioning off his notorious smoke machine, Black Country, New Road test pressings, and more, and Goat Girl have contributed their crow mask from the "Crow Cries" video.
There's also a variety of items from Anna Calvi, Fat White Family, Warmduscher, Tiña, PVA, Sorry, Mellah and more.
