Spotify reportedly building their own in-app karaoke feature
Spotify are reportedly working on their own karaoke feature to use within the app.
It appears that Spotify is looking to expand its features on the app to include a karaoke mode.
As Music Business Worldwide reports, reverse engineer Jane Manchun Wong shared screenshots of the karaoke feature on Twitter yesterday (7 September). According to her, the vocal volume is adjustable.
Manchun Wong has previously uncovered other Spotify features including video podcasts and virtual concerts.

Spotify's potential karaoke feature news also arrives at an interesting time, as streaming platform Twitch revealed last week that its karaoke app, Twitch Sings, will close down in January 2021.
