
Spotify introduce new Premium Duo subscription for couples
Spotify have launched their new Premium Duo feature, a new subscription targeted at couples living together.
The music streaming service's new feature was launched in the UK yesterday (1 July), and allows couples to access a premium subscription for two for £12.99 a month.
As long as the couple are living at the same address, Spotify's Premium Duo subscription provides couples with individual Premium accounts under one plan.
It's not just new users that can sign up for the Premium Duo feature. Those that already have a Premium account can swap over to the Duo subscription by visiting the account page on Spotify's site. Those that have existing Premium accounts will retain their original account, complete with listening history, preferences, recommendations and more.
Spotify's Premium Duo subscription also introduces the Duo Mix playlist, which is regularly updated with tracks from both accounts to appeal to each person.
Back in May, Spotify lifted its limit on the amount of songs that users can save to their libraries.
