Sports Direct are selling Burzum t-shirts
You’ve long been able to buy Minor Threat t-shirts in Urban Outfitters, but we never thought we’d see black metal merchandise on sale in Sports Direct.
But that’s only what’s gone and happened, with the discount sports retailers coming under fire in particular for selling t-shirts by renowned Norwegian outfit Burzum, led by the controversial Varg Vikernes.
Vikernes was arrested in France last year on suspicion of “plotting a massacre”, having previously been sentenced to 21 years in prison back in 1994 for murdering fellow Mayhem member Øystein ‘Euronymous’ Aarseth.
Sports Direct have taken the t-shirt in question off sale but have declined to comment on the matter.
