Spencer Krug's Moonface to release 'With Siinai: Heartbreaking Bravery'

Spencer Krug’s Moonface project are preparing to unleash a new record on 16 April through Jagjaguwar. With Siinai: Heartbreaking Bravery finds Moonface working with a full band for the first time. The band in question are Finland’s Siinai, who, in a previous incarnation (Joensuu 1685) toured Europe with Wolf Parade back in 2009.
Ideas and recordings travelled back and forth between Finland and Krug’s Montreal home before he travelled to Helsinki to work with the band. The first fruits of this collaboration come in the shape of the Stevie Nick’s referencing, swirling pop nugget ‘Teary Eyes and Bloody Lips’, which can be downloaded below.
