SoundCloud adds new music discovery tool 'Stations'
SoundCloud have launched Stations, a new feature aimed at helping you discover new music from the "100 million plus tracks on SoundCloud".
It boils down to an extension of the 'Related Tracks' feature, with a few bells added and whistles removed: "a station can be generated from any track, search term, content stream or your Collection. Pull up the menu from any one of those four and select the “Start Station” option. We’ll pull from the 100 million plus tracks on SoundCloud to bring you an endless stream of awesome audio."
The platform - who recently struck a historic deal with Universal - also say that similarly to likes and playlists, Stations can be stored in your Collection.
Stations is out on iOS and Android devices. Find out more.
