Organisers of Sound City have announced the return of Sound City Digital for 2021, a six-day online event featuring performances, showcases and a conference programme.

With Liverpool Sound City 2021 set to take place in early October due to the coronavirus pandemic, organisers have announced the return of Sound City Digital, which will take place next week.

The online showcase festival will feature headline performances from The Snuts, Rianne Downey, Brooke Combe and Tom Rogan, as well as including showcases from Rosehip Teahouse, Codewalkers, Faith, Aleighcia Scott, CHROMA, Elis Derby, Alffa, Madi and more.

Sound City Digital will also feature in-depth discussions that are free to view, and will be curated by AIM, BBC Horizons, TuneCore, Black Lives In Music, covering topics such as the music market boom in Nigeria, growing artists' platforms on TikTok, the future of fan engagement, as well as conversations with Ayishat Akanbi and Seye Adelekan of Gorillaz.

Sound City Digital 2021 takes place from 26 April to 1 May and will be available to watch via Guesthouse. Tickets for the full programme are available to buy for £10 now. Find out more.
