Solange confirms she's working with Dirty Projectors & Chairlift members, plus Sampha
Alt-pop starlet, Solange is gearing up for the release of her long-awaited third album – the follow-up to last year’s career-relaunching True EP.
Having already confirmed that the yet-to-be-titled, yet-to-be-properly-announced will come out on Sony-offshoot Saint Records, Ms Knowles has now told Billboard that it will also contain a few famous names.
Speaking to the publication on the progress of the LP, Solange has revealed that she’s been working and recording with the likes of Dirty Projectors man Dave Longstreth Patrick Wimberly of Chairlift and London electronic musician/SBTRKT collaborator Sampha.
The singer has also confirmed that the record will surface during 2014, currently being recorded between New York and New Orleans. She’s taken some time out from recording recently to play live in Brooklyn laundromats.
