Slowdive reform for Primavera Festival and London show
Slowdive have been confirmed for this summer’s Primavera Sound Festival, the first announced outing of their previously-rumoured reunion tour.
Following Rachel Goswell and Neil Halstead’s recent live team-up late last year, the band will now play the Barcelona fest in May.
The group have also hinted in interview with The Quietus that they’ll play new material at the fest, with a potential new record also possible.
A new Twitter account was previously set up for the group, who parted ways in 1995, and the members had been counting down to the date of 29 January (tomorrow) for a full announcement.
Halstead and Goswell performed together live in London back in October, their first appearance in 10 years.
